Race for Recovery & Walk for Awareness
Well, the Walk & Run are completed. Many thanks to all who made this all possible — the runners, the walkers, the volunteers, the board members and the committee. The day of our event, October 29, dawned chilly but clear. We had over 350 people attend, a number of them in costume. We had, according to the Timing results, 39 runners with the balance being walkers.

Wier World Llamas and Alpacas once again led our walkers along the walk trail, stopping occasionally for pictures. Many thanks to Julie Wier and her crew for bringing them and allowing us to have photos taken with the llamas. ![]()
